How to Create Custom Intervals (Admin Level Feature)

How you breakdown and categorise your data by intervals or buckets (e.g. the 25 – 34 age bracket) is completely in your hands.

Define Your Intervals

To give an example, you may wish to use deciles rather than quartiles or change salary brackets to figures such as 20,001 – 30,000, 30,001 – 40,000 etc.

Enter your new Custom Intervals as above and confirm these are now the preset values by saving custom intervals in your preferences / in the admin back end of tool.

How to Get Started 

You will need to be an Administrator of the Gapsquare Software to apply changes to intervals. If you are an Administrator please click the Preferences  button on your left toolbar and choose ‘Labels’.

You will be able to select the category you wish to change intervals for, please select your chosen category & enter your new custom intervals.

Please refer to your Account Administrator if you would like to use this function. 

Please note that changes to Custom Intervals for age and length of services will apply across user accounts and throughout your account. 

Revert to Default Intervals

If you would like to change your account back to default intervals you can do so by clicking ‘Revert to Default’.
