Gapsquare and Next 100 Years, a project dedicated to achieving equality for women in law, worked in partnership to research and co-author a paper on the gender pay gap that exists across the legal profession.

The research comes as the sector grapples with an ongoing and notable gender pay gap that is still 86 years away from closing. Our latest research found that two-thirds (66.4%) of women in law strongly agree that the gender pay gap is an urgent issue for women’s equality in the profession, yet 84% don’t think that they will see true pay equality in their working life.
